Chronic Pain Coaching Services — Melbourne & Telehealth
For Patients
At Wayfinder Pain Consulting, Claire combines her advanced expertise with a patient-centred, compassionate approach to help those living with chronic pain rebuild their lives. Through pain coaching, education, and tailored support, Claire empowers individuals to regain control, find balance, and live more fully.
Personalised Pain Coaching
Claire offers personalised pain coaching designed to help you move forward when pain has been limiting your life.
These one-on-one sessions are tailored to your individual situation and focus on improving day-to-day quality of life. Coaching may include practical pain management strategies, support with sleep, stress and lifestyle habits, graded return-to-activity planning, and gentle exercise guidance. Sessions are also a space to work through goals such as returning to hobbies, work, social activities, or simply feeling more confident in your body again.
Each session builds on the last, giving you practical tools and strategies to use between appointments so progress continues outside the clinic.
Appointments are available in person at our Oakleigh (66 Atherton Rd) and Carnegie (162 Koornang Rd) clinics, or via telehealth from anywhere in Australia.
Conditions We Treat
At Wayfinder Pain Consulting, we support people living with a wide range of persistent pain conditions. This includes headaches and migraines, neck and back pain, sciatica, hip, knee and shoulder pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis, repetitive strain injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis and other ongoing pain conditions.
Our evidence-based pain coaching is tailored to your individual situation and may support people experiencing pain related to injury, post-surgical recovery, repetitive strain, or lifestyle factors.
We see clients in person in Oakleigh and Carnegie and work with people across Greater Melbourne including Chadstone, Glen Waverley and Malvern. Telehealth sessions are also available Australia-wide.
In-Person vs Telehealth: Which Is Right For You?
Both our in-person and telehealth services provide the same high-quality, personalised pain coaching approach. In-person sessions at our Oakleigh or Carnegie clinics in Melbourne allow for hands-on assessment and direct physical interaction, which some clients prefer for building rapport and detailed movement assessment. Our telehealth sessions offer the same expertise and support with the added convenience of accessing care from home, making it ideal for busy professionals, parents, and those with mobility challenges.
Why Choose Pain Coaching Over Traditional Physiotherapy or Osteopathy?
While physiotherapy focuses primarily on physical rehabilitation, pain coaching takes a holistic approach to managing chronic pain. We combine education about pain neuroscience, personalised coaching, and practical strategies to help you regain control over your pain experience. This comprehensive approach empowers you to understand your pain better and make sustainable lifestyle changes that support long-term pain management and improved quality of life.
Ready to Take Control of Your Pain?
Whether you prefer in-person appointments at our Melbourne clinic or convenient telehealth sessions from home, Claire is ready to help you on your pain management journey. Book your consultation today to discover how chronic pain coaching can transform your approach to pain management and help you live the life you deserve.
Telehealth Coaching
For clients who can’t make it to the clinic, Claire offers online coaching sessions. These telehealth sessions provide the same high-quality, personalised care from the comfort of home, making it easier for individuals to access support no matter where they are. Online chronic pain coaching available to clients across Melbourne, Victoria, and Australia-wide. Telehealth sessions are conducted via secure video and are just as effective as in-person appointments for most clients.
